Time

  • Mood: tired
  • Listening to: the dishwasher
  • Weather: warm
  • Exercise: LMAO...what is that again...
Yesterday I went to Parent Orientation at Landon's school...nothing new should be a fun semester for him.  Looks like he won't return after Christmas since he will need all day care and I'm trying to find a place to take the boys.  Today was Landon's Meet the Teacher and that was okay...he was kinda clingy which surprised me.  We went out on the play ground, Landon and a couple kids were playing in the sand and next thing I know the little boy "H" was screaming...it seems Landon was throwing sand and wacked the kid in the nose and his nose was bleeding like crazy.  I was horrifed...mortifed....it was awful.   I honestly don't think he did the hitting on purpose but he does throw sand and knows that is not OK.  He was not allowed to play with his monster trucks or watch TV the rest of the day.  So we will see how that goes.

So this horrible Hurricane has just done some serious damage in New Orleans...Katrina...she will go down in history for sure.  It's so sad to read about dead bodies floating down the street....a man having to decide to help his wife or kids...making that decision and living with it....I pray for these people everyday.

I can't imagine what is going thru the minds of these people.  I'm so sorry for them...I'm sure they feel there world has ended....

and Gas prices...good grief...  When we bought our van in August 2002 it took 20.00 to fill up me 18gallon tank....today I put 14.5 gallons in and it cost 48.00 dollars....I bought gas for 3.29/gallon but most places are 3.30/gallon.

I can't tell you how glad I am we only have one car and we don't have that diesel truck anymore.  I know prices will come back down but OMGosh!!!  Of course my parents think we are crazy freaking out about it....LOL...they say it's just because it's Labor day weekend...  I guess we will see next week.

After everything with this Hurricane my problems are so petty but I went to visit a daycare near big WakeMed and right beside WakeTech Health campus and I loved it.  It was top of the line 5star.  It was awesome...worth every cent...of course that is the problem.  To take the boys there it will cost $1600.00/month for both of them.....  I have NO clue how we can afford that...but it's our kids...our precious angels...they are totally worth it if I can figure out where to get that kind of money.  Landon would have 30mins of Spanish everyday, taught about computers, have 2 outside playtimes, have gym class everyday....it would be a great place for him to be learning....Oh well...I'm still searching for "free" money...LOL...I need to go to Finanical Aid next week sometime and do some searching for scholarships and grants.   I signed up for subsidised childcare but it's a year wait...ugh....

All in All life is good....Logan is trying so hard to walk, Landon starts back to preschool, Glenn and I are madly in love and BOTH working towards the careers we REALLY want...who could ask for more.

Till next time.....

Peace   and Love

I know what you mean...it's all so sad. I saw that man that had to choose between his wife and children, it was so heart breaking. I've gotten so I'm avoiding the news because it's all so sad. Good for your son beginning to walk! These are special times, I missed my eldest daughter's first steps because I was working, but I feel so very blessed that I was here to witness my youngest daughter's first steps.
